DEPOSITS: $500 nonrefundable but transferrable to future litters.

We will contact applicants to answer any additional questions, and to go over our breeding program in detail, and once approved, to complete our contract and reserve a puppy with a $500 nonrefundable deposit.

PUPPY POLICY & HEALTH GUARANTEE
Your Shore Acres Chesapeake pup comes with a health guarantee, comprehensive veterinary health exam, first vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. Each pup will receive a PUPPY PACK which includes detailed litter and vet records (exam & vaccinations), Full AKC registration paperwork, free pet insurance offer, puppy food & nutritional snacks starter kit, mother/litter scented blanket & toy, clicker training information, and helpful new puppy resources — Chessie Facebook groups/websites, and puppy rearing and nutritional information. Genetic health tests are performed on parents to guarantee pups will never be affected by PRA, DM, EIC, and ED. We do NOT remove dewclaws.
PUPPY TRAINING, ENRICHMENT & APTITUDE TESTING
We take socialization, clicker, potty, and crate training, along with age-appropriate enrichment very seriously and make it an integral part of our breeding program. We follow the PUPPY CULTURE SOCIALIZATION PROGRAM from birth through 8 weeks of development to ensure an emotionally solid and independent puppy for all family types.
We administer the Volhard Puppy Aptitude test at 5-6 weeks of age to assist in matching the right pup to each family’s unique preferences (hunting, companion, service dog, etc.)
