Week 1 (Oct 25 – Nov 1): Welcome Newborns
Rayne x Steele Litter of Nine (5 girls/4 boys) – Whelped October 25, 2025
This week has been all about adjusting to life earthside:
⭐ Nursing, sleeping, and staying warm under mama’s watchful eye.
⭐ Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) began on Day 3.
⭐ Umbilical cords have all detached, and weight gain is steady.
⭐ Lots of tiny squeaks, wiggles, and little puppy piles in the whelping box.

Week 2 (Nov 2-8): Wigglebutts & Awakening Senses
This Week’s Highlights:
⭐ Eyes are open – first glimpses of light!
⭐ Ears still closed, but subtle head turns suggest they’re sensing vibrations.
⭐ Bigger voices during weigh-ins and ENS sessions.
⭐ Nesting and potty zone distinction is emerging.
⭐ Weight gain continues steadily, with each pup more than doubling their birth weight.

Week 3 (Nov 9-15): Growing Into Their World
This Week’s Highlights:
⭐ Eating 4 meals per day – raw turkey mash, kibble mash, and gentle protein rotation.
⭐ Rayney nurses briefly in between and after each meal for comfort and bonding.
⭐ Potty area upgrade – beginning to toddle toward the grass pad on their own.
⭐ Space Expansion – introduction of their small “house” with defined sleeping, play, and dining zones.
⭐ Teeth emerging – mouthing, chewing, and exploring various textures.
⭐ First play interactions – nibbling ears, paw batting, and tiny growls and barks during play.
⭐ Recognizing voices and seeking human interaction – early social engagement.
⭐ Begin brief Puppy Culture Challenges – small confidence-building tasks.
